A magical open house

We welcomed friends and clients to our open house to celebrate the season. Dave Grosfield, a big-hearted member of the Beakbane team in the 1990s, returned to entertain us as the professional magician – “Baldini”. His personality is as big as ever – but with less hair.

Dave Grosfield at our Christmas party in 1994, an account executive with hair.

It was delightful to recall stories with old friends and clients, some whom we have known and worked with since our first days in business in 1986 and before. The prize for length of association goes to George Cugini whom Tom Beakbane met on his first day in Canada and also his first day of employment in the marketing department at Pepsi-Cola. Mike Peirce who worked at S.C Johnson became a client in 1986 and remains a client and friend running the healthcare marketing intelligence company, LiveContact.

Business and marketing are ever-changing and sometimes turbulent so in spite of the ups and downs it is gratifying to share in the camaraderie and appreciate how lucky we are working in such a lively field and living in this fine city and country.

Thank you to all who shared in the celebration. Please tag yourself in the photos we have posted in Facebook.

Celebrating the season and many years of camaraderie with some magic and laughs.
