How “Integrated Branding” is changing

Here is a Slideshare document that explains what “integrated branding” is, and how it has evolved. Traditionally integrated branding referred to how all aspects of a brand’s communications across different media needed to work together. Integration has taken on an additional meaning as different digital resources need to be tied together through the cloud providing a seamless experience for employees, shareholders, distributors and consumers. Also the growth of social media enables audiences to interact with brands on a deeper level and so integration needs to take greater account of an organization’s values.

The document references case studies that have been uploaded to the new resource site IntegratedBrands.org This is a wiki showcase developed by Beakbane.

In the past brands could get by through one-off tactical programs that were well-executed. Nowadays it is impossible to get a high return on marketing spending without programs being integrated.
