Supporting McMichael Gallery’s new sculpture garden

This Canada Day, July 1st marks the opening of the Ivan Eyre Sculpture Garden at the McMichael Gallery in Kleinberg, Ontario.

The McMichael Canadian Art Foundation needs to regularly raise funds for the upkeep of the Sculpture Garden. Beakbane developed communications, including the booklet shown here, to reach out to donors and sell them on the potential of memorializing individuals who have played leading roles in the development of industry and commerce in Canada.

The booklet describes how entrepreneurs and business leaders share key characteristics with the artists that are featured at the McMichael Gallery. Both had visions of Canada’s potential, and both, through their hard work, helped create what has become this fine country of ours.

Inspired by the natural beauty of the gardens, the booklet uses textured paper bound with hemp. Each booklet was custom made.
